Hello Everyone, I hope you are enjoying some sunshine. I am excited to share that I am changing my business name to Smiles and Swirls.
The Smiles is for the fun we will have creating together. My favourite saying is “A smile is a curve that sets everything straight”. It was my high school year book quote from a long time ago (too long ago!).
Swirls have been prominent in my artwork since I lived in New Zealand. Over there, the swirl represents the unfolding of the fern frond and means new beginnings, harmony and growth.
I am busy changing my website with new pictures and my new logo. Check out the changes so far at www.smilesandswirls.com (www.wendymeades.com will also be re-directed to there). My goal is to have everything up and running by September and then to send out weekly inspiration for creative projects for kids (and adults) on my blog and through my newsletter. I have been wanting to do this for a long time but sometimes the fear of technology stands in my way. Thanks to my husband (Chris Meades) for helping me figure things out. Stay tuned for more!
