Make a Grateful Wreath for Thanksgiving

grateful wreath

Happy Canadian thanksgiving weekend.  I really enjoyed creating a grateful wreath with watercolour paints for thanksgiving.  As I was creating it, I was thinking about all the things I am grateful for.  Family, friends, health, living in such a beautiful place in the world and being able to create with kids in art club every week.  What are you feeling grateful for this year?

To make this wreath, trace a bowl to make a circle.  Start with larger items such as pumpkins and sunflowers.  Balance the placement of the larger items around the circle.  Then fill in the rest of the space with leaves, acorns and fruit.  Make sure you place the different colours around the circle to make it more interesting. You can also try to have leaves of different colours.  Write the word Grateful in the centre or write out the things you are grateful for.

Happy Creating Lovelies.
