My first online art course Paint and Create Animals is now open for registration!
I started this journey to create an online course about two years ago when I was visiting Toronto (where I grew up) and my friends and family were saying that they wished I lived closer so they could come to my art classes. I decided to start with painting and creating animals from around the world since I have always been fascinated with animals on my travels. I also find that when I ask the kids that attend my art classes what they want to paint, their answers are often some kind of animal.
Paint and Create Animals is a 6 lesson online art course for all ages that teaches you how to use different art materials and color techniques to create paintings of animals around the world. Each lesson includes 2-4 videos of step by step demonstrations as well as sheets of fun facts and instructions. Learn how to draw animals, use acrylic paints, water color paints and oil pastels to create beautiful paintings.

The course starts on June 28th. Just in time for summer (in Canada!). It is a great thing to do with your kids. My kids are 8 and 10 and they are able to follow along with the videos on their own but I encourage you to do it together. As I always say….everyone has the ability to be creative. This course is also great for teachers that are looking for creative ideas for in the classroom.
