I feel like life is so busy that it is hard to make time to nurture my soul. That is why every mother’s day weekend I try to do something for myself. This year I decided to rent a studio space for a day at the beautiful 100braidstreetstudios. I usually paint at home in any space that I can find like the living room and I often make a big mess and feel guilty about it. I felt like I was stuck with my 100 paintings project and I wanted something to energize me again. I am so thankful that I was able to spend 5 hours painting without any interruptions. I am also thankful to my wonderful husband for looking after the kids. Here is a picture of some of the paintings in progress. I began to dream of having my own studio space one day and all the creating I could do when I am not worried about being in the way or making a mess! One day this dream will come true.
