Celebrate Lunar New Year with a Rabbit art project. Lunar New Year, commonly known as Chinese New Year, begins on January 22, 2023.  This is one of the biggest celebrations across Asia and represents new beginnings, good health, happiness, and fortune.

Each new year in the lunar calendar, is represented by one of 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, or pig. 2023 is the year of the Rabbit.  According to Chinese astrology, the Rabbit represents peaceful and patient energy.
