Inspiration for Happiness

I hope you have enjoyed your spring break. With the arrival of spring I have had a feeling of restlessness. Before I got married and had children I traveled a lot and was always seeking adventure. That is harder to do now with kids. I have a supportive husband but I can’t just hop on a plane whenever I want now. I turned to a few good friends and this inspiration really helped:
  • Enjoy the NOW
  • Time flies so better use it.
  • All we have is the moment.
  • You can only walk one road at a time.
I also like this inspiration from Christine Kane: ‘Success is about the choices you make each and every moment’.
Keeping yourself happy takes work. It doesn’t always come naturally. I believe we have different seasons of life we go through. So I will save up for a trip and I will have little adventures with my family. I will paint, try to go to the beach every week, go to church, do my yoga in the mornings and be grateful for what I have. Hopefully in time the restlessness will lead to a sense of peace. Right now I have to work a little harder to get through the days and work towards my dreams. Do you sometimes go through times where it feels harder to stay happy? I would love to hear your inspirations and what works for you.
If you feel that the things that normally make you happy or help you through touch times aren’t working please consult a doctor.

Come create in the relaxed atmosphere of my home studio.  In this session we are going to be inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe to paint large beautiful flowers.   Enjoy some wine, appetizers and create a painting on a canvas.  No experience is necessary just a sense of fun.   This is a great thing to do for a friend’s birthday or an early mother’s day treat for yourself.
