Father’s Day Card Image Transfer Technique

Father’s Day is around the corner and this is a fun, unique card idea that your kids will want to do over and over!    It is a simple way to transfer an image to the inside of a card.

Fold a piece of paper in half and draw on the back of the cover with crayons or oil pastels.   Make sure to cover all the white spaces.  This can be scribble colouring, colouring with two colours held together….whatever you want.

IMG_9543-1Draw a picture on the front of the card with a sharp pencil or pencil crayons and press hard (this doesn’t work with markers or crayons).  Colour in the images with pencil crayons but don’t colour the background since then the image on the inside won’t stand out.

When you open your card, you will see that the image transferred onto the inside of the card.  It is like magic and kids love this.  Check out my Wendy Meades You Tube Video to see this process!
