Is your house overflowing with art your kids have made? Do you want some ideas of what to do with it all?
Some of the kids in art club like to come on zoom a little early and show us all of their artwork. I love seeing the beautiful creations and I think it takes a lot of courage to share their art. It made me start thinking about all the things you can you can do with your children’s art.
Here are some ideas:
Frame it and put it on the wall. You can buy low budget frames from IKEA, Home Sense and even the Dollar Store. Change it around for different seasons. 
Put it in a portfolio. I make so much art for art club that I like to put it in a portfolio book. Kids love turning the pages and showing off their art.
Give it as gifts to family or friends. Art is a great gift for any occasion. Grandparents and parents love getting homemade gifts.
Make it into cards. I often like to just play with paint to make some abstract art and then cut it up and use it as cards or add it to another painting. My daughter’s school organized their art to be made into cards with an organization called The Card Project.
Take photos of the art and have it made into things like a bag, mug, pillow, photo books and t-shirts. There are many places online that will do this for you like Etsy, Society 6, Canvas Champ, Vista print etc. Walmart and London drugs also can do this for you. Celebrate the art your kids make. It is so special to see their progression and how much they improve over the years.
