You don’t need a lot of art supplies to be able to create at home. Here are some of my favorite art activities to do and all you need is markers or pencil crayons, a pencil and paper. You can do these with any age….from adults to kids!
Favourite’s Jar
Draw a jar and fill it with words or pictures of things that are your favourite things to do or things you are grateful for. Take this to the next step and then pick one of those things to do that day!
Line doodle
When I went to art school, one of my favourite teachers said that drawing is taking a line for a walk. I love this so much! Take a pencil for walk on a page with a doodle that fills the whole page. Start adding patterns or words inside of your doodle. It is amazing how this will come together to make a beautiful drawing. Mandalas
I love creating mandalas. I find them so relaxing and fun to make. Check out this You Tube link to learn how to create a Mandala. You can also make mandalas outside in the sand or out of natural materials such as leaves, pine cones and sticks.
