Hello everyone, I hope back to school is going well for everyone. It is nice to get back into a routine. There is lots going on in our household this September. I think we are going to rest in October after all this excitement.
The Luminary Festival
I have painted a few panels for the Watershed Art Gallery display this year. Look out for my swirly trees and dream catcher all lit up. “The Luminary Festival is a magical event hosted annually at Sunstone Park in North Delta. The festival is fun for all ages and features a Parade of Lights, Concert in the Park, children’s activities, entertainment and food vendors.”
When: Saturday Sept. 9th from 6-10pm. Take a free shuttle from the North Delta Rec. Centre to get there.
Paint and Create Art Classes
There are just a few spots left in my art classes that start on Wednesday Sept. 13th. Check out this link for more information. It is going to be so much fun and I can’t wait for it to start.
Open Studio for Delta Studio Stomp
I will have my studio open with new art, jewelry and art activities on Saturday September 23rd from 1-4pm. Come check out the studio that has been painted, eat some treats and make some art. Please let me know if you plan on stopping by at wendymeades@hotmail.com.
Book Launch!
My very talented husband has his new book Hanna who fell from the sky coming out and we are having a book launch to celebrate. He will be talking about the process of writing this book, you will be able to buy his book and there will be door prizes and of course cake. We hope you can make it.
