Here is a sneak peak of some canvases I am working on right now. Someone asked me to do some paintings of dragonflies and I find them such a beautiful subject. I am just learning how to use gold leaf, it is not so easy to work with but creates beautiful effects.

the gold leaf is beautiful! It’s the second time this week I’ve heard of gold leaf – my cousin in England who teaches collage workshops, is doing one with recycled papers and gold leaf!
Thanks Sonya, I will add gold leaf into my next mixed media workshop. It is actually not as hard as I thought! : )
