Remembrance Day Art

I couldn’t resist painting a field of poppies for Remembrance Day.  As a child, I remember the poem In Flanders Fields being read in school and being so moved by the images of the red poppies.  There are two different options for paintings.  One that is more child friendly using oil pastels and watercolours and one is an opportunity for a paint night with adults using acrylic paints.   I hope you are able to spend some time remembering special people that served in the war.  My grandad was a motorcycle mechanic in the war.  He used to ride great distances on his motorcycle to help with repairs.
