Paintings at Pepperoni Cafe!

pizza is good for the soul

I have exciting news!  Some of my paintings are going to be displayed at the Pepperoni Cafe ( 6388 120th Street, North Delta).  They are super supportive of local artists and also have amazing pizza so go check it out.  It was fun to create a painting for their pizza art wall.

Website Updates

I have been in the process of updating my website with my new paintings and a new logo.  I have decided to change my business name back to Wendy Meades because I really want to take my art and paintings seriously this year.  Check it out here.  I would love to hear what you think!

New Paintings

I have been slowly working on a new series called spreading joy.   I have injured my back/neck and some days I am in so much pain I really can’t do anything.  Other days I can sit and paint for a little bit at a time.  This year I am determined to have joy in my life and painting helps me to stay happier.  Having joy or being happy in life actually takes a lot of focus and it isn’t always easy.  Some things that happen in life just make it too hard.  I try to  enjoy the little things that make me happy and try not to focus on the things I can’t do.  I have been doing a lot of meditation and listening to positive messages.  Chronic pain is one of the most misunderstood conditions because some days I can do more if I rested the day before.  If I overdo it one day, then the next two days I am in a lot of pain.  I am so blessed to have such a supportive husband and kids.    Thanks for all the healing vibes!

Here are some of my new paintings in my Joy Series.
