I haven’t had much energy for painting this week so I made an apron for Claire’s daycare teachers since she is moving to the toddler room. 

Working with earth tones is very soothing for me.  Painting every day has made me realize that you don’t have to have the perfect studio set up.  You can really paint anywhere. 

This painting is another one that I completed on a weekend away.  I am trying to paint more with red instead of always gravitating to blue.

I did this painting last night and it was really fun to do.  I am trying to keep my style loose and relaxed. 

This painting is called Tranquility and it was made on a painting weekend away.  It feels like waterfalls to me and the colours are calming and relaxing.
